Seems like this happens once every April.
I’m over it. Bleah

Death is not an option: Long Beach and IndyCar or Villa Park?

I swear no one did anything more than flip the windshield wipers a couple of times to clear snow this morning. There was snow all over the roads in piles.
And yet, I saw a ~ 70 Nova and a 1968 GTO convertible on 83 this morning. The Nova is a regular sight, but it seems to me that 83 is weirdly good for old car spotting in rush hour (?)

The stuff was frozen, my snow brush was useless against it. I had to deploy my big scraper. I couldn’t get it off of my roof, but of course as I was approaching work (within sight of it), I could see it starting to slide down my windshield. As gentle as I was on my final application of brakes, it all came crashing down. Luckily it didn’t break anything.
I avoid 83 like the plague during rush hour, so I’ll take your word for it. Pretty cool to see those two out and about. We know our favorite Corvair driver took it out today too :)
I was down towards your neck of the woods on Saturday. We attempted to go to the Baker’s Square on 83 for lunch, but they closed down.
